Let’s Get Ready for a Revival

Day #15

Staying Home Instead of Eating Out

So my goal here with this post is to give you resources of the normal “take out” and “restaurant” food but staying home and cooking those items from scratch- with wholesome, not microwaved, no msg, fillers, junk, etc in your meal.  However I understand for the restaurant owner this might really make you mad, I get that. But I’m here trying to help people cook better for their selves at home with better ingredients. That’s my job.

I remember last year we processed ourselves over 100 chickens for the freezer and I was so tired and hungry. I didn’t feel like cooking or making anything and I probably didn’t want to cook whatever I had taken out and I was weak. I’ll admit it. I said let’s order pizza! I love the local pizza place it makes such tasty pizza. However it makes me feel like crap and it’ll give me a headache. What a shame to, I like it when I splurge and have someone else cook for me.  But what I realized it’s just not worth it. It gave me no actual sustenance like what my body is use to with my home cookin’.  So lesson learned and remembered.

Today I’ll be sharing with you lots of “copy cat” recipes. However I have to WARN YOU that a lot of the recipes (not mine) will use ingredients that I would not suggest, so please do your due diligence and research. Think outside the “box” and create only using REAL food, preferably organic.

I’ll list my recipes first for you to print off and then some other recipes as well that I’ve tried. There’s lots of “copycat” recipes out there all you have to do is type in copycat recipes and you’ll see a boat load of them. Again though, look at the ingredients and substitute with real food, no msg, and organic.  Switch out oil and use applesauce, use healthier oil options or bake instead of fry. Stuff like that.

Go back to the Facebook post for today and post what Your Favorite Copycat Recipes are and share the love
