Butter Roll Bread Recipe Used for Buns, Rolls & Sliders

For the Bread Maker

This versatile recipe is used for many items in my home. It makes delicious buns, rolls & sliders and it utilizes my Bread Maker which is a Zojirushi and has worked out good for me for many years.  If I’m not making Sourdough then I will be using this recipe for brat buns (even though I tend to shape them funny), hamburger buns, rolls and for my Breakfast Slider recipe. The husband requests these whenever he wants bread. He’s not super enthusiastic about sourdough so once in awhile I”ll indulge him.

Pinch & Pull Method quick video

Follow your specific directions for adding in the ingredients for your specific bread maker.

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Add in the ingredients according to your bread maker – I add in the order that is listed up above and make a little dent in the middle to add the sugar & yeast with the salt & butter around the edges.
  2. Use the setting “Regular Dough” or a similar setting where it mixes and rises the dough but does NOT bake it.
  3. After the bread  maker part is done (usually by a beep) you’ll remove the dough and shape into the desired shape.
  4. Allow to rise
  5. Bake at 350 for approx 10 minutes (or until done, depending on what shape you chose)

These make delicious bread sticks as well-

You can shape into sticks or you could simply flatten on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and allow to rise. Melt butter add in garlic salt and spread half of it on the dough. Bake as above, brush remaining butter mixture and use a cookie cutter to cut into “sticks”.

This also makes fantastic Sausage Breakfast Sliders as well! You’ll use a 9×13 pan for the dough to rise in, cut in half and create the sliders. Click the image to learn exactly how.

Enjoy!
