Chow Mein & Thankfulness

It’s January and we have kicked off the Kitchen Revival and it has been amazing, I have seen so many wonderful people participate and really care about their food! It’s exciting and rejuvenating to see this! It’s  not to late to join either.

Creating a Revival in your kitchen

Also a New Recipe! Yay- I love a new recipe don’t you?  Here is a Panda Express copycat version of Chow Mein- It’s got some healthier options than what you would typically see. It’s delicious and what I love about it is that it is easy to make and doesn’t take much time.  Plus it uses up cabbage which is nutritious and we grow here on the homestead. In fact today I had a head from the garden (it’s January if you’ll notice the publish date) and the cabbage was still good! All I did was pick it from the garden a few months back, put it in a grocery bag and plopped it in the fridge and finally decided to do something with it and all I had to do was peel off a few layers. I still have half left so I’ll need to make up my Cabbage & Dill Breakfast Casserole tomorrow.  You could omit the dill if your not a fan, but I love it in there.

Click on either image for the Cabbage Recipes and I hope to see you on the Kitchen Revival Facebook group soon!
