Recipe for either the Air Fryer or Oven

Yummy Homemade Tator Tots for the Win! They are easy to make and freezes well- makes for a quick side dish for dinner or lunch. Who loves mashed potatoes? Turn them into Tator Tots!

Plus with only a few simple ingredients you’ll have yourself a healthy Tator Tot that can’t be beat. Make them Gluten Free by switching out the flour with with a Gluten Free Flour. <–Find out my favorite gluten free mix!

We tried these in the air fryer, the oven and cast iron skillet with lard. Honestly I’m not sure what the favorite was- we loved them all!

Suggested Easy Peazy Lunch or Dinner
Homemade Tator Tots – Frozen Homemade Pizza
Frozen Cauliflower from the Garden

 

Ingredients:

Directions:
1. Boil potatoes until mashable (extra nutritious if you boil in bone broth)
2. Drain and place potatoes back into pan or into another bowl
3. Mash the potatoes and add in the remaining ingredients
4. Use an ice cream scooper to form the tots
5. Preheat air fryer to 400 ° F and spray with olive oil OR Preheat oven to 425° F
6 Place tots in a single layer, (Spray again if using air fryer) and cook in Air fryer -15 minutes or Oven 15-25 minutes –depending on the size of the tots and how crisp you would like them

Easy to Freeze Option: Bake as above, cool down, place on a cooking/baking sheet in a single layer. Flash freeze, pop off and place into a freezer bag or container. Remove from bag frozen, place on a baking sheet in a preheated 400 ° oven and bake 15 minutes!
