Seed Starting – Muffins w Glaze – Cheesy Potatoes

Should you be starting your seeds indoors yet? If you’ve been seeing lots of videos and ads in regards to seeds or maybe gotten some catalog’s in the mail it might have you thinking, “should I be planting seeds already?” Well I can tell you up in Michigan, not even close. I’m in zone 4B, I will not plant my garden until the 1st week in June and most plants only take 8 weeks to be ready to spread their roots. So march back 8 weeks and that’s when it’s time. If your eager to learn now I have some videos that’ll help get you started. As time gets closer I”ll have an exclusive guide as well.

These Pumpkin Applesauce Muffins with a Maple Glaze will have you be saying “MMM MMM baby”!

Need a side to add to dinner? Try these delicious from scracth Cheesy Potatoes, this version I created does not use a “cream of” soup. Plus I make them in a cast iron skillet for extra ease and yum!

Also I’m super excited to announce a new page I created called “Homesteading Items” – it was just created today and only has lists from the above recipes. This list will show a list of the items I grow/cultivate/harvest/preserve. It’s a fun way to showcase all the items that I currently grow/cultivate/harvest/preserve but also to encourage that YOU can do this as well! Once you start learning to grow more of your own food, have whole foods and ingredients on hand you’ll actually spend way less than if you were to buy package after package of everything. I even do it organically and my grocery bills/food bills are quite reasonable. I’ll keep building up this list each time I publish new items.

Some of the links may be affiliate links, which means I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you, if you click through and make a purchase. I only share links of products I either use or would be comparable to what I am currently using.
