Homemade Pizza
Homemade pizza in less than 2 hours?! Yes please! Here’s an easy homemade pizza recipe that’s easy and delicious. Feel free to top it with any or all of your favorite toppings. Perfect crust + homemade sauceÂ
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Water
- 1 Tablespoon Active Dry Yeast
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1/2 Teaspoon (each) Basil, Oregano, Garlic Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 & 3/4 Cups Flour
- 2 Additional Tablespoons Olive Oil
Directions:
- Proof your yeast by warming the water to 100-110 degrees F
- Add in the yeast & sugar and stir with a fork until dissolved, set aside for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile in your stand mixer or a large bowl measure out your flour, spices & salt and place in the bowl, stir to combine.
- Add in the olive oil and proofed yeast mixture.
- Attach your dough hook if your using a stand mixer or a large spatula if not. Turn on low and knead for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Pour a bit of olive oil in your bowl and cover, placing your dough and covering for ONE hour.
- After one hour you’ll see that the dough has doubled. Place 1 tablespoon of olive oil on your pan and spread.
- Remove your dough from the bowl and by using your hands press the dough to cover your pan. Let rise for 10-15 minutes.
- Using a fork poke several small holes around your dough.
- Cover with sauce, cheese and desired toppings.
- Place in a preheated oven at 400 degrees F and bake for 20 minutes.
