It’s Fall Y’all!

Hi Friends!

I might not be southern but I sure do like the word “Y’all”! Ok I digress – I’m here today to remind you that those delicious flavors for fall are everywhere, including this recipe today. I honestly do not like the Pumpkin Spice flavor- I know, don’t hurt me please! But I LOVE these Pumpkin Applesauce Muffins with Maple Glaze!!  These are aahhhhmazing!!! So grab that pie pumpkin or canned pumpkin and whip up these delicious sure to  make people happy! Click on the image to see the recipe and WOW the people!

Around the farm has been nuts! The average frost date for my area in Northern Michigan is September 17th and it hasn’t yet!! So that means those Tomatoes that never ripened because of the cool, smoke hazed summer get a chance to do their thang! I’m thrilled about that. The vines look bad, like bad bad but the  maters are  hanging on and turning red. I’m here for it. Yesterday we canned up 14 Quarts of Dragon Farts Salsa- yep…. what a name right? It’s spicy if you couldn’t tell by the name.  We also canned 14 quarts of Potato Soup which I will be glad to have on hand on those days I just don’t feel like being in the kitchen.

Also Piglet Watch 2023 has been very sweet, especially this one pig who LOVES belly rubs. Seriously, what a ham!!  I’m trying to talk the  hubby into keeping Her so we can breed her, because who wouldn’t want a pig who cuddles?!?!?!

Need a dinner idea? These Enchiladas with homemade sauce is a great hit for the table! We use either ground pork or shredded chicken, but anything will work!
