Easy Oven Baked Rice
No Fuss- Just Place In The Oven!
Learn just how simple making healthy rice can be. It’s such a versatile staple that could be added to any Mexican dish, casseroles or as a side dish by adding salt & pepper + cheese.
Equipment
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Rice
- 2 Cups Broth
The broth could be bone broth, chicken, beef, vegetable or stock.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° F Measure out the rice and pour into your dutch oven Measure and add your broth to the rice and stir Place into preheated oven with the lid ON Bake for one hour Remove & leave lid on Use when needed
This recipe is easily doubled & tripled – just make sure there’s enough room in the dutch oven for the expanding rice
Laura’s Tips: This easy & simple rice recipe is loaded with nutrition because of the broth. I use my own chicken bone broth. This recipe easily doubles/triples. You can use any oven safe dish and most times people recommend using tin foil, however I prefer not to use that unless necessary. So if you have a dish with a lid this is a perfect replacement and it’s better all the way around. Use this rice in casseroles, mexican dishes or as a side dish by adding in cheese and salt and pepper.
