Helping families grow food, cook from scratch, preserve the harvest, and build practical homesteading skills—one lesson at a time.
Sometimes things be ugly

Hi Reader
Look not all gardening is pretty and front news worthy. I like to teach both sides of the coin, there’s the good, the bad and the ugly.
Today is some ugly, because gardening is not perfection. It’s learning to see the ugly, perhaps try to help it. Some you win, and trust me some you do not.
It’s about getting out there, sweating, swearing and learning. Constantly learning.
God made us to be outside, growing our food and working the land. Period. The ugly and all.
Hit reply and let me know what you’re struggling with in the garden.
Welcome to my Blog- I’ll share with you what our Homestead looks like and how we raise 80% of our food, all organically, sustainably, naturally and beautifully.
I’m hoping to inspire you that you can do this as well! God has provided our family with all the things, but the big thing He has given us is the drive to get ‘er done! We didn’t start out with all this, we started very slow, replacing one thing at a time, learning one thing at a time.
