Welcome to the root’s revival with Food Prood; where we are going back to our roots and learning old fashioned ways in a modern world.
Hi Reader
Spring has Sprung on the Homestead and it’s wonderful! It always seems like we are so far behind on the green grass and sunshine than most of the country – well we actually are. But I do believe it makes us love and thrive on all four seasons no matter how dramatic the changes are between them.

🐖 The Whole Story: How We Became the Accidental Pig Farmers We didn’t plan on pigs. Honestly, we just wanted a couple chickens, maybe a garden… and somehow, we ended up knee-deep in mud, surrounded by squealing piglets, and absolutely in love with the homestead life.
Delicate and earthy with a hint of honeyed sunshine, these dandelion shortbread cookies bring a touch of wildflower charm to every bite. Buttery, golden, and lightly floral — it’s like spring baked into a treat.
New Items like my purple podded pole beans + organic sourdough starter has been added to my lineup of gift sets, charcoal soap, salves & so much more. ALL on Sale for Mother’s Day 25% off – huge savings!
Welcome to my Blog- I’ll share with you what our Homestead looks like and how we raise 80% of our food, all organically, sustainably, naturally and beautifully.
I’m hoping to inspire you that you can do this as well! God has provided our family with all the things, but the big thing He has given us is the drive to get ‘er done! We didn’t start out with all this, we started very slow, replacing one thing at a time, learning one thing at a time.
