Learning Old Fashioned Ways in a Modern World

with Laura Lawrence

Hi Reader

Oh boy — did y’all have as much fun as I did at the Expo this past Saturday?

My heart is still so full. It was such a joy meeting so many of you and packing in that super-fast crash course on food preserving! I know we covered a LOT in a short amount of time.

I may send one more follow-up email in a few days because I feel like I still have so much to share and make sure I didn’t miss anything important for you.

First — truly, thank you for coming out and choosing to sit in my class. That means more than you know.

If you’d like to go deeper into canning or fermenting, I have two eBooks available — and I’ve discounted them just for Expo attendees.

They’re normally $19 each, but you can grab them for $5 each using code: EXPO26

Fermenting 101 Canning 101

(Consider it my thank-you for spending your Saturday with me.)

If you have even the tiniest bit of feedback from my presentation, I would absolutely love to hear it. What was helpful? What would you have liked more of?

Just hit reply and type away — I read every message myself.

And if you’re ready for hands-on learning…

IN-PERSON CLASSES:
You can find all the details here: Build Skills, Community, and Confidence on the Homestead – Food Prood – Laura Lawrence Homesteader

If you’re looking for a fully immersive homesteading experience, you’ll see that option at the top of the page.

If you’d prefer a one-off class, scroll down to see the six individual classes I’ll be teaching this year.

These will be my only in-person classes for 2026.

I would love to see you again.

Gratefully,

Laura

About

Welcome to my Blog- I’ll share with you what our Homestead looks like and how we raise 80% of our food, all organically, sustainably, naturally and beautifully.

I’m hoping to inspire you that you can do this as well! God has provided our family with all the things, but the big thing He has given us is the drive to get ‘er done! We didn’t start out with all this, we started very slow, replacing one thing at a time, learning one thing at a time.
