Heirloom Seeds
Preserving the Past
Planting the Future

It’s important to start off with correct seeds – Heirloom seeds are my recommended choice.
Heirloom seeds have been passed down through generations, unchanged. When you grow heirlooms, you can save the seeds and plant them again — getting the same plant year after year. They preserve flavor, nutrition, and history.
Hybrid seeds are bred by crossing two varieties to create desirable traits. They grow well, but if you save the seeds, the next generation usually won’t match the parent plant.
If you want to save your seeds and grow your own food every year, heirloom seeds are the way to go.
Create generations worth of food with heirloom seeds like my famous purple podded pole beans!
seeds remind us that from the smallest beginnings come the greatest blessings

the love of a garden starts with a single seed
Seeds start out as this teeny, tiny thing; everything to grow is right inside of them. Give them the proper conditions – Light- Nutrition- Warmth and they are on their way to grow into a plant that will produce fruit, which then produces seeds, which self-plants in the ground and when those proper conditions come back –Light – Nutrition – Warmth it starts all over again. It is simply amazing and awe inspiring what God has given us. Given the proper conditions we act as that seed as well.
It is very important to focus your energy, resources, supplies and space on seeds that need to be started prior to the gardening season and not spending extra money for seed starts that could have been sown directly by seed. Keep reading to learn more.
