Lard is incredibly moisturizing for the skin and have had many people report that it’s been great with their sensitive skin as well as their children.
Ingredients: saponified lard, essential oil.
We make these with a cold soap process and are cured for at least 4 weeks.
A beautifully packaged gift box of 6 bars of hand crafted soap $30
Each bar is carefully crafted and made in small batches. The lard that is used is from our own piggy’s that we raise on our homestead in Northern Michigan using organic practices (pasture raised + certified organic feed). That means this rich lather soap is made with the best ingredients that will nourish your skin. We use organic essential oils to create a light fragrance. We’ve heard rave reviews from people with sensitive skin as well as using it on their children.

【Q&A】
1. Will I smell like a pig? nope- common misconception but understandably why you would ask this.
2. Does the fragrance free have a smell? yep, it does. It smells faintly like lard which could be a good thing. It does not however make your skin smell like a pig, See question #1.
3. Does it lather like “normal” soap? yep, sure does.
4. Can I use this bar soap in my homemade laundry detergent? yep, sure can.
5. Is it made with clean ingredients? yep, you bet ya! I use the lard from the pigs that we raise right here on our homestead, they roam in pasture rootin’ and tootin’ and we feed them organic certified feed. I use distilled water, lye and organic essential oils.
6. Do you offer returns? nope, sorry that would be rather hard due to it’s a personal hygiene product. I however would love to hear from you to see if there is another option of making it allright.
7. How does it ship? Via usps or ups 5-10 days after your order is placed you’ll be piggy approved to!
8. How long does it last? Up to one year when stored properly.
9. How to use: Use this soap just like any other soap, it works really well and has a great lather. We use it in the shower as well as for our hands. Store in a cool dry place when not in use. When using it’s best to be kept on a well drained soap dish that will allow drying between uses.
Notes: I use only a small amount of essential oil so it’s not to powerful.

I hope you enjoy these handmade items that I truly love and believe in!
Not everyone has the same types of sensitivities please research ingredients prior to using. Each batch is handcrafted using natural ingredients, so each batch is unique and may be slightly different. The lard is sourced from us directly from pigs we treat with love, feed certified organic feed and raised on pasture.
What people are saying:
Brandy – “As for the soap I was a little taken aback that I would be slathering pig lard on myself but heck I’m up to learn. My whole family thought it was awesome. I found the soap to be creamy and effective. Not one kid broke out so I consider that a win as well. It wasn’t as scented as I would like but heck. I’d take functional over rashes.”
Mary – “I have very sensitive skin and your soap was soothing as well as cleansing.”
Renee – “Wonderful stuff!! Always makes my hands feel happy. I get kind of greedy about it and I don’t want to share . My son mischievously cut it into little tiny pieces and I saved every single piece in my drawer and I’m using them. It’s nourishment for my skin.”
