Learning Old Fashioned Ways in a Modern World

with Laura Lawrence

Hi Reader

Every year I see new gardeners run into the same problems.

Two of the biggest mistakes are:

Planting too early
Starting plants that should actually be direct sown

Both can cause frustration before the season even begins.

Gardening is much easier when you understand which crops thrive in different conditions and when they should be planted.

Learning a few of these basics can save you time, money, and an entire growing season.

If you’re starting a garden this year, I walk through these concepts in my book Seed to Plate, along with many other practical gardening tips.

You can learn more about it here:

A little knowledge now can make a big difference later in the season.

About

Welcome to my Blog- I’ll share with you what our Homestead looks like and how we raise 80% of our food, all organically, sustainably, naturally and beautifully.

I’m hoping to inspire you that you can do this as well! God has provided our family with all the things, but the big thing He has given us is the drive to get ‘er done! We didn’t start out with all this, we started very slow, replacing one thing at a time, learning one thing at a time.
