โ€” a Midwest homesteader, educator, and author of Seed to Plate: A Homesteading Gardening Guide and Cookbook and Sourdough for Everyday Life: From Starter to Artisan.

The love of a garden starts with a single seed. Over 24 years ago my journey into homesteading began in Northern Michigan, above the 45th parallel, with a single garden box and a few tomato plants. What started small slowly grew into a life centered around raising organic food, homesteading, and teaching others practical skills to create more confidence and freedom in their own homes.

Today our family grows and raises much of our own food โ€” and Iโ€™m here to help you start where you are. Read My Story->
