Why learn from me?
I’m an avid food prood! I’m constantly in the kitchen creating meals, coming up with new things, throwing things together to feed the fam. All our meals are from scratch and have been for many many years. I’ve learned a lot by making mistakes and great success. I will be sharing with you all my tips & tricks in the kitchen to make things delicious & easy!

How the Program works –
An online course with an easy-to-follow format that will guide you through the 10 modules and all included lesson plans.
The Junior Cooking Club consists of 10 modules. Each module contains several lessons each containing videos that will show your child EXACTLY what to do, how to do it and why we are doing it a certain way.
I would like to preface that throughout this program I mention the word “organic” many times. I truly believe that organic choices are far superior than most food that is raised in huge fields and sprayed with toxic chemicals and animals raised in feed lots. However, I truly understand that not everyone thinks the same way, or are able to purchase organic foods.
I will also discuss the importance of buying local, and supporting farmers. You do what you can, I will just be referring to ingredients that we grow here on our homestead. All ingredients used will be able to be sourced from a store.

What age is this for?
- Honestly this is a tough one. I really feel like it’s for everyone. Originally, I was designing this for kids but I realized that maybe some people were not given an opportunity to learn the basics in the kitchen, so this is really for EVERYONE who needs to learn cooking from scratch. There may be some lessons/areas that little’s will need supervision in, like using a knife, the oven, or browning meat. That I will leave up to the parent/guardian because YOU know best.
Is there support?
- Heck yea! I’m there for you! It’ll be ME answering your questions, watching your progress and checking out your brags! In each module/lesson you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and I personally will answer all of them.
Meet Your Cooking Club Leader, Laura Lawrence –
I have been a huge food enthusiast since I can remember! With my husband and three children, we manage a homestead in Northern Michigan, where we raise 80% of our own food from our land using organic practices and feed. We also home school and the kids help out a lot around the homestead/farm.
