Summertime Means BBQ Season is Upon Us

Oh I don’t know about you but I like to spend so many hours outside during the spring, summer and fall. Basically whenever the sun is shining I want to be out in it doing just about anything.ย  I do think that has something to do with why I have 2 huge gardens, raise animals, an apiary and an herb garden. It gives me a reason to be out there. You see I like to be busy, like probably “need” to be busy. I like to think it keeps me out of trouble.

But seriously, I really do LOVE the sunshine. There is something so magical about it, it makes you feel so good. It gives life. When the sun is shining through the clouds and it’s radiating everywhere it’s like God shining his love on us. Do you feel it to?

With the busyness of the nice days on a homestead brings countless meals that are done on the bbq, especially the smoker. My husband loves that thing and will use any excuse to fire that up. Plus when it’s hot out who wants to turn on the oven anyways. So today’s post features some delicious BBQ Summertime Recipes and my Favorite BBQ Resources that I hope you’ll enjoy.

About

Welcome to my Blog- I’ll share with you what our Homestead looks like and how we raise 80% of our food, all organically, sustainably, naturally and beautifully.

I’m hoping to inspire you that you can do this as well! God has provided our family with all the things, but the big thing He has given us is the drive to get ‘er done! We didn’t start out with all this, we started very slow, replacing one thing at a time, learning one thing at a time.
