What's a Pig Princess, Cabbage &
Cookies Have in Common?
Nothing, well just this blog post to you my friends!! :)
Garden Talk:
This week we are wrapping up the garden work by harvesting weeks later than we typically get to and it's exciting, so lots of warm weather crops like Tomato's & Peppers are in my garage waiting to be preserved in one fashion or the other. (I'll keep making Fermented Salsa for sure!) Tomorrow will be the squashes and pumpkins. After the frost which I predict will be this weekend, we will harvest the Carrots, remaining Potatoes & Onions. I think that's all.....
New Recipes:
I have found a Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe that is incredibly delicious!! I use my GF blend for the "flour". The key that makes these so good is that you mix up the dough and place in your fridge for 2 days and then bake. It's hard to wait, but trust me it's worth it
And for breakfast, typically just myself as the rest of the fam doesn't enjoy Dill I love making this Cabbage & Dill Breakfast Casserole- I'll make a few of them, cut them into single portions and eat them all to myself.
The Queen Bee:
Check out my latest video on YouTube as I attempt to dive into my hives to do some rearranging and accessing but to only be buzzed on out of the apiary! Those girls are smarter than me and they certainly won that day. Check it out HERE.
